Two weeks after visiting DMG’s Product Showcase, the Flow Environmental System team traveled across the country to present a case study at the ATOMspehere Summit in Washington, D.C.

Flow, in partnership with Berkeley Labs (the 16-time Nobel-recognized East Bay Institution), showed energy savings of 54% annually and operational cost savings on a typical office building using a natural refrigerant (R744) heat pump.

ProspectSV and DMG are pooling their resources and expertise to deploy these promising low-GWP heat pumps. This collaborative effort is currently engaged in field testing and providing comprehensive training for Flow’s CO2 Heat Pump in the Bay Area. This is a significant step in advancing sustainable, low-GWP, all-electric HVAC solutions in the marketplace.

The collaboration between DMG, Berkeley Lab, and Flow Environmental Systems combines cutting-edge research, practical manufacturing expertise, and market-oriented solutions to develop and deploy low-GWP heat pumps. This multi-faceted approach ensures that the resulting technology is both innovative and commercially viable, contributing to more sustainable heating solutions.
